To Run or Not to Run - that is the question… Keep the Streak Alive.

Yesterday, I faced a choice: Run or not to run?

I started a streak last week—running a 5K every morning before work. But yesterday, I was tired. I could have let my feelings get in the way of my seventh consecutive run, but instead, I laced up and hit the pavement.

And you know what? Once I got going, I felt better than I had all week. Whether it was the cooler air or the power of consistency, I decided to push past my usual 5K and run a 10K instead.

Now, am I as fast or as strong as I was a couple of years ago?  Nope.  I'm a shadow of the person I was a couple of years ago.  Life has had its way of taking a big bite out of my sandwich (as life tends to do). I could have made excuses—I was busy, I didn’t have time, the couch was calling my name—but the truth is, we make time for what matters.

For the last year and a half, I drifted away from the habits that got me to where I wanted to be. Sound familiar?

Enter Bull Durham—aka the greatest baseball movie of all time.

One of my biggest takeaways from that classic is a quote from Crash Davis (played by Kevin Costner) to the hotshot rookie Nuke LaLoosh (Tim Robbins). Their team had been on a brutal losing streak but suddenly started winning. Crash looked at Nuke and said:

"Never F$*& with a winning streak."

Now, I don’t know if that quote belongs on a motivational poster, but let me tell you—it’s gold.

Winning streaks don’t just happen in baseball… or in running. They happen in real estate, in business, and in life. Success comes from showing up, putting in the work, and sticking with what’s proven to win.

So here’s my question to you:

Are you in a winning streak right now? Or do you need to get back to what worked before?

If you’re looking for a place where success is the standard, where growth is constant, and where we don’t mess with a good thing—we should talk.

Let’s lace up and run this race together.
